Texas Hold'em Poker Odds Calculator

Enter any two hands — with or without a board — and get exact win, lose and tie percentages instantly.

Set up any Texas Hold'em matchup below and this calculator runs 40,000 simulated runouts to give you each hand's win percentage. Leave the board blank for pre-flop equity, or add a flop, turn and river to see how the odds change street by street.

Player 1 hole cards
Player 2 hole cards
Community cards (optional)

Pick both players' hole cards and press Calculate odds. Leave the board empty for pre-flop equity, or fill in a flop/turn/river to see how the odds shift.

How the calculator works

This is a Monte Carlo simulator. Rather than enumerate every possible board (which is slow), it deals tens of thousands of random valid runouts, evaluates the best five-card hand for each player on every one, and tallies the wins, losses and ties. With 40,000 trials the percentages are accurate to within a fraction of a percent — more than enough for study.

Famous matchups to try

  • A♠A♥ vs K♠K♥ — the classic "cooler." Aces win about 82% of the time.
  • A♠K♠ vs 2♦2♣ — the textbook coin flip (a pair vs two overcards is roughly 50/50).
  • A♥K♥ vs Q♠J♠ — dominating overcards win about 63%.
  • A♠A♥ vs 7♦2♣ — the best hand vs the worst: aces win about 88%.
Quick tipEquity is only half the story. To know whether to actually call, compare your equity to the price you're getting — that's pot odds. Our pot odds calculator does that math for you.
